New haunted attraction promises a good scare — for a good cause

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Waikiki Trolley is getting the word out about a ghoulish good time near Ala Moana this spooky season.
“Trial of Fears: Dr. Delerio’s Insane Asylum launched early in October and promises to be one of Oahu’s best haunted houses this year.
“In addition to delivering heart-pounding fun, a portion of the event’s sales will be donated to Family Promise of Hawaii, making this a great opportunity to promote a Halloween adventure with a positive impact on our local community,” said Nina Gaines, Director and Project Manager for Trial of Fears.
The haunted house runs from Oct. 11 until Nov. 2, offering those who enter the thrill of trying to escape Dr. Delerio and his terrifying orderlies in an bone chilling asylum setting.
Trial of Fears is across the street from Ala Moana Shopping Center, next to Pho Saigon at 1500 Kapiolani Boulevard.
They’re open from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursdays and Sundays, and from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
